Explanation-why our school is special

Goal:I am learning to use Apostrophes for contractions correctly.

I enjoyed writing about why my school is special because I love my school.

It was hard to get different things throw my mind to writing 

Why Paroa school is supreme

I want to explain why Paroa school is the super school in Greymouth.

My main Reason is there are lots of fun things to do like the swimming pool, the two playgrounds, the field and the court. There are activities that we can do in class time like monday mantra, buddy reading and tuakana teina we also have a band we’ve worked our heads off making the Paroa Anthem Mr Sinton white in room 8 does the William pike challenge with the year 8’s.

Another reason is playing in the swimming pool with others, playing soccer on the field or any other games you can play on the field and playing on our two playgrounds one playground is for the year 1-3’s we call it the little kids playground and the other is for years 4-8 and we call the big kids i’m one of those big kids.

Also we have a sand pit next to the little kids playground the year 4’s are allowed on the little kids playground too the little kids playground is next to room 4.

I’m super happy about what school i go to and i’m sure we’re all happy here

Toni's disco-my recount

GOAL:I am learning to use Capital letters for people and places correctly.

I enjoyed writing this recount because I enjoyed the disco and it felt like I was there still.

I found it challenging to change my writing to make it sound better.

Toni’s disco

I was invited to go to Toni's party at Cameron's Hall.

Angela (Estella's mum) is  taking me there I made a card and gave Antonia $10 for her birthday.

Then we all waited for DJ Ziggy while we were waiting  we all had party food.

Next the DJ came and turned on the music we all started dancing BOOM BOOM BOOM!

After that we all played games first we played boys vs girls dance off Reed won the boys. Next we played air guitar still boys vs girls in the girls Antonia won in the boys Cooper won.

Finally we all pizza and chips for tea I had chips. Then did some classical dancing in peers my partner was Liam king.

I enjoyed writing this because all the thoughts that were fluttering through my mind!

It was challenging because It was hard to remember.

My hand has just landed on the mat then the other, I’m starting to sweat my feet have just landed no now I'm on the

beat board I fling off onto the tongue and I’m now backflipping off the tongue as if i was performing a stunt in the circus! SMACK I landed and it was an amazing landing it was all perfect!

But I wonder what others would think?
