Where am i?

Where Am I?

I turn right into the camp, in the shop I see loads of kids licking sweet, chilly ice-creams. Bikes, bikes! Everywhere in the lush forest playground, jungle gym, the house swing, the obstacle course and obviously the HUGE tire swing flying through the air piled up with people. The waterhole swarmed with humans, sandflies, butterflies, mosquitoes, and dogs. Some on Noah's ark there’s flippers and snorkels poked up everywhere. I’m looking over the hillside WHOOSH!!! A flying fox comes flying past me “Watch it!” people would say in a nasty voice I walk over to my campsite passing the bathrooms seeing parents and children washing dishes together in the sunset, chatting with friends on the skate park dunking on there new besties, but … as everything flashes out the night falls. The campsite is deserted over the camp there is no one on the skate park no one on the tire swing all the eels swarmed together to stay warm. Wait ... oops, there are eels here yea that you can feed so let us continue now. The hydro slide abandoned all the camp staff is all asleep. There’s not a person in site but as dawn breaks out everything bursts back to life! Once again the day fills with excited and motivated people and as you look over the hills staring out nelson way but you’ll turn around half way and look towards Greymouth. After about ten or so day at this camp, you’ll turn left out of this wonderful camp and think to yourself “what an amazing camp”

Where am I?

  1. Ka Rawe Jemma! What an amazing piece of work. We like how you used describing words to paint a picture and that you have used punctuation. We think you're at Quinney's bush.
